BOUNDARIES – Our equipment
JEB maintains a fleet of late model trucks, fully insured and in perfect running condition, outfitted with modern survey equipment suited for the task at hand. The trucks are equipped with the latest in reflector-less electronic total stations, data collection equipment, virtual reference network (VRS) for GPS surveying, and other hardware that may be specially required for a particular task (e.g. aluminum boats, hydrographic and GIS survey equipment, underground utility locators, etcetera).
Back at the office where the data gets verified and maps get prepared, we provide the client with the versatility of two mapping platforms, standard AutoCad platform and the Bentley Microstation platform, which is most commonly used in highway design and flood control projects in support of the Jacksonville District Corps of Engineers work in Puerto Rico and US Virgin Islands.
Surveying [ser-vey-ing] :determines horizontal distances, elevation differences, directions, and angles. These basic determinations are applied further to the computation of areas and volumes and to the establishment of locations with respect to some coordinate system.
