Javier Bidot & Associates is the only hydrographic team in Puerto Rico with four specific purpose watercraft and amphibious vehicles.
JEBA is very experienced in performing inland, nearshore and coastal hydrographic surveys using Hypack as the data acquisition software. Our personnel regularly attend the annual Hypack training event to keep current in the latest version of the software and participate in the showcase of new technology.
For inland bathymetric surveys, the company owns three aluminum survey vessels (10’, 14’ and 19’ LOA); each with its own trailer that serves specific purposes within the different hydrographic survey scenarios we are presented with on any particular project.
For neasrshore and coastal hydrographic surveys, the company owns Surveyor 5. JEBA’s 25-foot aluminum, enclosed cabin hydrographic survey vessel, makes JEBA very active in providing hydrographic surveys in support of project conditions, dredging, harbor clearance, construction and plans and specifications surveys. Surveyor 5, on its trailer can be deployed to any location in Puerto Rico and has been doing work trips since 2014 to the USVI and Culebra for work on its own bottom.
